About
Same family since 1986
Two generations, two shops in Fairfax County, and one policy that has not changed in forty years. You get the price before the work, not after.

How we got here
Forty years in the same county
We started in 1986 with one truck working out of Fairfax. The second shop in Chantilly came later, and it exists for one practical reason: two locations are what let us hold a 45-minute emergency response across most of the county instead of promising it and missing.
The son who answers the phone some mornings learned the trade from the father who started it. That is not a marketing line, it is just how a small trade business ends up after forty years, and it is the reason the same names keep turning up on the same streets.
We know which neighbourhoods still have clay sewer pipe, which subdivisions got polybutylene in the eighties, and which wells run hard enough to take out a water heater early. That knowledge is not something a company can arrive with. You get it by being here.

Why the flat rate
We billed by the hour for years, like everyone else. The problem was not that it made us slow. It was that customers had no way of knowing whether it had.
A price quoted before the work removes that question entirely. If a job takes longer than we thought, that is on us. It has cost us money on individual jobs and it has never once cost us a customer.

Who runs it
Danny Peeds
Master Plumber, VA #XXXX-XXXXXX · 26 years in the trade
My father's rule was that you never tell somebody they need something they do not need. That sounds obvious until you are standing in a basement at eleven at night and the customer would believe whatever you told them. That is the whole job, really. The plumbing part is the easy bit.
Danny still runs calls two days a week, mostly the sewer and repipe assessments, because he does not think you can price work you never see.
How we hire
The single thing that decides your experience is who knocks on the door
Background checked and drug tested
Every technician, before their first call and randomly after. You get their name and photo before they arrive.
No commission on parts
Our technicians are not paid a percentage of what they sell you. It is the single most important line on this page, and almost nobody in this trade will put it in writing.
Apprenticed, not rushed
Four years alongside a journeyman before anyone runs their own calls. We run short handed some weeks rather than send someone who is not ready.
The paperwork
Licenses, insurance and the paperwork
Ask any contractor for these. A hesitation is an answer.
What that means for you
